I built UroPay to help you get UPI payments straight to your bank with no fuss—no payment gateway, no holding your money, no intermediary. You generate a QR code via the API, customers pay via UPI, and you get instant payment notifications once you receive the UPI Credit SMS on your Android Phone where UroPay is installed.
You are responsible for accurate sign‑up info, securing your account, and keeping the app running.
Prohibited: no illegal use, malware, reverse‑engineering my code, or abusing the service.
My limit of liability: UroPay is provided “as is” with no warranty. I’m not liable for network issues, fraud, downtime, or damages. You defend me if you misuse the service.
Restricted categories: No illegal or fraudulent use—anything against law or system integrity is off‑limits.
I don’t store your messages, other data, OTP, or finances.
You control your data—secure it and keep it private.
I only collect what’s needed to run the app.
Governing law: India (Noida courts). Terms may change—continued use = you agree.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UroPay's services, website, and applications (collectively, the "Services"). UroPay is not a registered entity and is a service developed by Gaurav Chandra, resident of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
The term "UroPay" used within these Terms refers solely to the brand name and does not determine the nature of the business. The name is used for identification purposes only and does not imply any specific type of business entity or registration.
UroPay provides a technology service that enables users to receive payments directly in their UPI-enabled bank accounts via their mobile phones. UroPay is not a payment gateway or payment aggregator and does not hold any payment aggregator licence.
It is important to understand that UroPay acts solely as a service that facilitates UPI payment reception, and does not process, settle, or handle any funds. All payment transactions occur directly between the sender and the recipient through the UPI infrastructure maintained by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
UroPay does not generate, create, or provide UPI Virtual Payment Addresses (VPA). Users must have their own pre-existing UPI VPA from their bank or UPI-enabled application, which they must provide to UroPay for payment reception. UroPay solely facilitates receiving payments to the user-provided VPA.
3.1. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for the Services.
3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.3. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
3.4. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Services.
3.5. You shall not use the Services for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
3.6. You are responsible for keeping your Android phone charged and connected to the internet.
3.7. You are responsible for ensuring the UroPay Android App is constantly running on your device.
3.8. You agree not to upload, post, or transmit any content that contains viruses, malware, or other malicious code that may affect the operation of the Services.
3.9. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the UroPay application or service.
3.10. You agree not to use the Services in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, or negatively affect the Services or servers connected to the Services.
3.11. You must provide your own valid UPI VPA (Virtual Payment Address) obtained from your bank or authorized UPI application. UroPay does not and cannot create UPI VPAs for users.
3.12. You are solely responsible for conducting due diligence on your customers and business partners.
3.13. You must ensure your business complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to KYC, AML, and tax regulations.
3.14. You acknowledge that UroPay has no obligation to verify, monitor, or review your business activities, customers, or transactions.
4.1. UroPay does not store any SMS and does not concern itself with your business model or services.
4.2. Gaurav Chandra makes no warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Services.
4.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gaurav Chandra shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
4.4. Gaurav Chandra shall not be responsible for any fraud, scams, or illegal activities conducted by users of the Services.
4.5. UroPay will provide notice of scheduled maintenance at least 7 days in advance. Users are expected to maintain the UroPay Android App in running condition despite such notices.
4.6. While UroPay facilitates payment reception, it is not responsible for payment processing, settlement, or any disputes that may arise between transaction parties. Users should address all payment-related concerns directly with the counterparties involved in the transaction.
4.7. UroPay is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement are made with respect to the Services.
4.8. UroPay does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service. Service may be affected by factors outside UroPay's control, including but not limited to mobile network availability, internet connectivity, and third-party services.
4.9. UroPay has no duty to monitor, investigate, or verify the legitimacy of any user's business, transactions, or compliance with applicable laws.
4.10. UroPay is not responsible for any regulatory violations, tax liabilities, or legal consequences arising from user's business operations.
4.11. UroPay does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product or service offered by users through the payment reception facilitated by our Service.

4.12. Users acknowledge that UroPay's role is limited to technical facilitation and does not extend to any aspect of the underlying business transaction.
5.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gaurav Chandra, his affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
a. Your use of the Services
b. Your violation of these Terms
c. Your violation of any rights of another party
d. Your conduct in connection with the Services
e. Any regulatory actions, penalties, or investigations related to your business operations
5.2. You cannot hold Gaurav Chandra or UroPay accountable for any fraud or wrongdoing committed by you or other users of the Services.
6.1. All content, features, and functionality of the Services are owned by Gaurav Chandra and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without prior written consent from Gaurav Chandra.
6.3. You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the UroPay application or any technologies used by the Service.
6.4. You agree not to remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the Service.
6.5. You agree not to use any automated means, including but not limited to agents, robots, scripts, or spiders, to access, monitor, or copy any part of the Service.
6.6. You agree not to represent the Service as your own product or services, or claim any association with or endorsement by Gaurav Chandra without explicit permission.
7.1. These Terms shall remain in effect until terminated by either you or Gaurav Chandra.
7.2. Gaurav Chandra reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, without notice.
7.3. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
8.1. Gaurav Chandra reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
8.2. Notice of any material changes to these Terms will be posted on the UroPay website or through other communication channels.
8.3. Your continued use of the Services after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the modified Terms.
9.1. UroPay offers various subscription plans, including Free, Growth, and Unlimited Plans.
9.2. No refunds are allowed on the Free and Growth Plans.
9.3. For the Unlimited Plan, refunds are allowed on a monthly pro-rata basis only.
9.4. Refunds may be offered in special circumstances at the sole discretion of Gaurav Chandra.

10.1. UroPay does not process or store any personal or financial data of users.
10.2. Users are solely responsible for the security and handling of their own data.
11.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
11.2. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
12.1. Introduction
12.1.1. This Privacy Policy explains how Gaurav Chandra ('Developer'), the developer of UroPay, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the UroPay service ('Service').
12.1.2. Your privacy is important. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
12.2. Information Storage Security
12.2.1. All information is securely stored in a database that is not accessible by internet. This isolation provides an additional layer of security to protect your transaction data.
12.3. Information Collection and Usage
12.3.1. Only transaction-related information is stored in the database. This includes only the minimum information necessary to provide the Service.
12.3.2. UroPay does not process or store any personal or financial data of users beyond what is necessary for the functioning of the Service.
12.3.3. No SMS are stored in the database. SMS messages are processed in real-time and are not retained.
12.3.4. All SMS except UPI credit SMS are ignored and not processed. The Service only processes UPI credit SMS to enable the payment receiving functionality.
12.4. Data Minimization
12.4.1. The Service is designed with data minimization principles. Only the essential information required to provide the Service is collected and stored. This approach reduces privacy risks by limiting the amount of data processed.
12.5. Third-Party Services
12.5.1. The Service does not share your transaction information with any third parties or external services. All transaction data processing occurs within the Service infrastructure.
12.5.2. The UroPay website and dashboard utilize third-party services including Google Analytics, Microsoft Bing Analytics, Google Sign-in, and other generic services which are essential for UroPay's functioning.
12.5.3. These third-party services may collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
12.5.4. By using the UroPay website and dashboard, you acknowledge and consent to the data collection practices of these essential third-party services.
12.6. User Control
12.6.1. Users are solely responsible for the security and handling of their own data within their mobile devices and UPI-enabled bank accounts.
12.6.2. The Service requires users to keep the UroPay Android App constantly running on their devices to function properly.
12.7. Compliance with Laws
12.7.1. The Service is designed to comply with applicable data protection laws in India. As regulations evolve, the Privacy Policy may be updated to maintain compliance.
12.8. Changes to Privacy Policy
12.8.1. Gaurav Chandra reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Notice of any material changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the UroPay website or through other communication channels.
12.8.2. Your continued use of the Service after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Gaurav Chandra regarding the Services and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, written or oral, concerning its subject.
16.1. Any UPI-related logos (including BHIM UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or other UPI applications) displayed on the UroPay service are trademarks and intellectual property of their respective owners.
16.2. UroPay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) or any UPI-enabled payment apps.
16.3. Any third-party logos are used solely for informational purposes to indicate compatibility with UPI-enabled services.
17.1. If you provide any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant Gaurav Chandra a perpetual, worldwide, fully transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, and display the Feedback for any purpose.
17.2. You acknowledge that any Feedback you provide is not confidential and may be used by Gaurav Chandra without any obligation to compensate you.
18.1. UroPay facilitates the receiving of payments through UPI but does not provide payment gateway services and is not involved in payment processing or fund settlements between transaction parties.
18.2. UroPay is not responsible for any payment issues, disputes, or financial transactions that may occur between the parties involved in a transaction.
18.3. In case of payment-related concerns, users should contact their bank or the UPI-enabled application used for the transaction.
18.4. UroPay does not have access to, control over, or responsibility for the funds transferred through UPI-enabled applications.
18.5. UroPay does not provide UPI VPA creation services. Users are required to get their UPI VPA independently through their bank or authorised UPI service providers before using UroPay services.
18.6. No Monitoring or Verification Obligations
18.6.1. UroPay operates as a passive technical facilitator and has no obligation to:
a. Verify user identity or business credentials
b. Monitor transaction patterns or amounts
c. Review business legitimacy or compliance
d. Investigate suspicious activities
e. Report transactions to authorities (unless legally compelled)
18.6.2. Any voluntary security measures implemented by UroPay are for platform protection only and do not create any duty of care toward third parties.
19.1. Neither you nor Gaurav Chandra shall be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond the reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of nature, labor disputes, civil unrest, war, governmental regulations, communication or utility failures, or other events of force majeure.
20.1. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms, in whole or in part, without prior written consent from Gaurav Chandra.
20.2. Gaurav Chandra may assign these Terms at any time without notice to you.
21.1. UroPay services may not be used for businesses operating in the following negative, risky, or restricted categories:

j. Cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms
k. Drugs and drug paraphernalia

o. Government IDs or documents
p. Hacking and cracking materials
q. Illegal goods
r. Miracle cures
s. Offensive goods or hate speech materials

21.4. Restricted Categories (strictly prohibited):

21.5. If at any point UroPay detects that a user is using the service for any of the restricted categories listed above, UroPay, through its owner Gaurav Chandra, has the right to immediately disable the user's account without prior notice.
21.6. Users operating in risky categories may be subject to additional scrutiny and may be required to provide additional documentation to maintain their accounts.
